She pursued her MBBS and MD in Psychiatry from Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC), Delhi which is one of the prestigious institutes in India. During her graduation she developed keen interest in the field of mental health and her passion for the branch kept her going. Post graduation from a central institute gave her rich experience in treating all age groups be it children, adults or elderly.
