Dr Sakshi Gupta is a Consultant Neuro-psychiatrist and founder of "The Healing Clinic". She pursued her MBBS and MD in Psychiatry from Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC), Delhi which is one of the prestigious institutes in India. During her graduation she developed keen interest in the field of mental health and her passion for the branch kept her going. Post graduation from a central institute gave her rich experience in treating all age groups be it children, adults or elderly. She has been treating mental illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, anxiety, substance use (addiction), obsessive compulsive disorders, autism, hyperactivity, intellectual disability, relationship problems and many more.

During her Senior Residency from Government medical college and hospital, Sector 32 Chandigarh, she was an integral part of the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment (CRHT) team catered patients in the community providing emergency services at their doorsteps, organized community outreach programmes to raise mental health awareness in the masses and beat the stigma. She also worked as the Clinic Head of Government Rehabilitation Institute of Intellectually Disabled (GRIID) Chandigarh during her senior residency.

She served as the district psychiatrist of Patiala, nodal officer of OOAT Clinics (Outpatient Opioid Assisted Treatment), member of local committee for inspection of de-addiction centres, participated in numerous camps for free mental health check up and disability certification of people with mental illness and children. She has been a speaker in national and international conferences and has been awarded and felicitated for her exemplary services. Besides being a life fellow of "The Indian Psychiatric Society" she is a singer, writer and blogger and pens poetic expression of adversities borne by Indian women advocating female empowerment.
